Cuts: The Boat

This is the boat out behind the Inverness store, the quintessential cut of thee PRC. The best way to get to it is to hop across the creek downstream near the back of the gas station. It's got primo views of the bay and neat graff. It was here where I first started tagging up my stencils. There are two "Complete Controls," and my first versions of Joe Hill and La Virgen.

Please make it stop

My dad showed me this two days ago. It's the theme for a cartoon show from when he was in elementary school. It's horrifically catchy.

Art: Will Durkee

Ey there's this show coming up this Saturday night in Point Reyes. It's going to be hella dope, the full details areon the poster.

The artwork is done by Will Durkee. I first met him going to the "Verge" concerts at the Marin Youth Center back in freshman year. When I was booking shows senioryear, Will and his bands Pook and Cosmic Shenanigans were there to play the first concert, "Children of theNight." In June of 2010, they played "The Casbah" benefit which raised money for the West Marin school art department.

Back to Will- peep some of his surrealist drawings I took from his facebook. I think he still has some stuff up at Revolution 9 in Fairfax, and if you want to meet him in person he'll be at theshow laying down fat bass grooves for the freestylers
